Mount Om Parvatha is located in Uttarakhand’s Vyas Valley and stands at a height of around 14,000 feet.

The structure feels like the Hindi letter Om, therefore it is known as the Om Parvatha Mountain.

The mountain is always snow-covered, which makes it a favorite spot for travelers and tourists.

In this occasion, at Om Parvatha mala, the ice had totally vanished, leaving only stones behind.

Om Parvata has never been snow-free previously. This caused significant grief and surprise among local residents and tourists.

Urmila Sanwal, a Kunchi village resident, said that “without ice and snow the Om-shaped mountain was unable to be recognised”.

A government official stated that if current situation remains, tourist industry in the surrounding area will suffer.

After some snowfall it was started to covered with snow here a few days before.

Some noticed snowflakes on the Om Parvata hill again. That has provided some relief to the people living in the region.

Due to the absence of rainfall and snowfall in the Himalayan region over the past couple of years, the snow has completely vanished from the Om Parvada mountain, says Tan Singh, who guides the Kailash-Manasarovar and Adi Kailash Yatras.

According to Sunil Natyal, director of the GB Pant Himalayan National Center in Almora stated.

The increasing number of vehicles in the Himalayas is causing temperature to rise, resulting in global warming and forest fires are reason to disappear of snow.

After some time,it was started to covered with snow, Snowflakes seen on the Om Parvata hill again.

Finally, It put some relief to the people and tourists.
