UN Chief Praises India at Global Artificial Intelligence Summit

India will host an international summit on Artificial Intelligence in Delhi on January 19 and 20. Leaders and representatives from many countries are expected to attend the event. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has also confirmed that he will take part in the summit, showing its global importance.   Speaking to the media, Guterres said Artificial Intelligence is growing very fast and brings both benefits and risks. He noted that AI has become an important issue in international relations and could create serious challenges in the future, including job losses for many professionals. He stressed that countries must work together and discuss AI openly in all situations. Guterres praised India for taking the lead in hosting the summit and said the event should focus on finding solutions to the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence.
