Kangana Ranaut is poised to make her debut in Hollywood with a prominent role in the horror drama titled Blessed Be the Evil, as reported by Variety. She will be joined by Tyler Posey, known for his role in Teen Wolf, and Scarlet Rose Stallone, recognized for her performance in Tulsa King. Production is set to commence this summer in New York, with U.S. locations chosen to circumvent issues arising from the recently imposed Trump industry tariffs. The film will be helmed by Anurag Rudra, who co-authored the screenplay with Gatha Tiwary, the president and founder of Lions Movies. The narrative centers on a Christian couple who, after enduring a heartbreaking miscarriage, relocate to a desolate farm with a sinister past, only to confront a malevolent entity that challenges their love and faith. Director Rudra, who spent his formative years in rural India, expressed his inspiration by stating, ‘Growing up in rural India, I heard stories that stayed with me. This folklore felt so real and special that I wanted to share it with the world through cinema—the most powerful bridge between dreams and reality.’ Posey, who has experience in the horror genre from his role in Truth or Dare, and Stallone, the daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, who has appeared in films such as Reach Me and more recently The Gunslingers alongside Nicolas Cage, round out the cast.
