US President Donald Trump has shared a new controversial image showing Greenland, Canada, and Venezuela as if they were parts of the United States. The image, posted on his Truth Social account, appears to place Trump in a meeting with several European leaders, with a modified map displayed beside him. The photo is believed to be an edited version of a real meeting held last year, and it has sparked fresh debate and criticism online. Trump also shared another image showing himself planting the US flag in Greenland along with US Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Earlier, Trump said the US needs Greenland for national security reasons and claimed it is important to block China or Russia from gaining influence there. His remarks were strongly opposed by several European countries, including Denmark, France, Germany, and the UK. Trump later warned that if Greenland is not fully acquired by the US, he may impose higher import taxes on goods from countries opposing the move, further increasing tensions.
